First published in 1972 (and now on its 10th printing), Morgan's book is considered a classic. Besides whipmaking, you'll find loads of historical information. The appendix contains a reprint of a 1893 British whipmaking guide! Can be ordered from David Morgan
How to Make Whips

Written by Ron Edwards of the APWA. Contains a tonage of information, as well as wonderful line drawing by Mr. Edwards. Complete and detailed step-by-step instructions for making a stockwhip, bullwhip and snakewhip. This book is a 'must-have' if you are interested in whips.
