Cockroaches

Order Blattaria

Cockroaches can be recognized by their flattened oval shape, the head concealed under the shield-like pronotum, and long antennae. Most have wings, but in some families they are much reduced. Their eggs are enclosed in capsules (or oothecae) which are either deposited or carried around at the end of the abdomen. Most people have experience how fast cockroaches can run.

Jessica cared for a colony of Hissing cockroaches in highschool science class. Now she sports a hisser on her left arm, as well as other species on her body.
